The Bamboo Village of the South

Bula is also known as The Bamboo Village of the south because of its main product bamboo. The term "Bula" is coined from the legend during the colonization of Spain during the historic time when an old man splitting the bamboo and asked by the Spaniards to what place is they were stepping and the old man thought that the Spaniards were asking to what object is he holding and he confidently answered "Bu-la".

After so many times, the people who live in Bula were called Bulaeños. Then these Bulaeños were very smart and invented or created native products made of bamboo. One of these is the latest product called "Bamboo Tiles" located at the Mayor's office. How amazing it was!
